Work — Aberdeen Combat Centre
A gym with six disciplines and one page on the internet.
We rebuilt the brand, the site, and the software the gym runs on. Nine weeks, start to finish.
- Scope
- Brand, Website, Admin software, Memberships
- Year
- 2026
The gym had outgrown its website.
The site was built for a smaller gym and the gym kept growing. Five things it could no longer do.
- 01Six disciplines, and nowhere to send anyone asking about them.
- 02A timetable that lived in Instagram messages.
- 03Memberships taken by hand, off the website entirely.
- 04Thirty-three classes a week, and one page to hold them.
- 05Nothing the staff could change without asking someone.
Six directions, all in their colours.
They already had black and red, so nobody was shown blue. The palette was the given; how hard to hit with it was the question. All six are below, including the five they turned down.
Fight Night
Chosen
Ringside
Too calm for them
Fight Card
All red, no rest
Bloodline
Handsome, slightly funereal
Cornerman
Gold pulled focus
Whitewash
Bright room, wrong gym
8 colours and 2 typefaces. That is the whole brand.
Anton
Every headline, every time, every price. Always uppercase.
Archivo
Everything else. Body, labels, form fields.
Then we built the half nobody sees.
Also shipped
Stripe memberships with notice periods, a member area with door codes, a coach panel with class registers, four staff roles over nineteen permissions, and a photo library that refuses to delete an image which is live on a page.
