Our own products

We run a product line of our own.

Alongside client work we build and sell our own, with a storefront, automated licensing, a published component library, and a support desk with real customers waiting in it.

Thousands
of servers running software we built and support.

2021
selling our own software, continuously.

Tooling for game servers
Running since 2021

A product line with paying customers, version releases, a licensing system and a queue of support tickets. The whole unglamorous machine.

It is a different market to our client work, and we learn more from it than from anything else we do. Selling software to strangers who will tell you, loudly, the moment it breaks teaches you what it has to survive.

What running it involves

A storefront that runs itself
Payment, licence issue and version delivery all happen without anyone touching them. Exactly the same problem as a client’s membership system, with the same consequences when it goes wrong at 3am.
A shared component library
Published as a package that every product builds on, so one fix ships everywhere at once. It is the discipline that keeps a growing set of products from turning into a growing set of problems.
Support, with real people in the queue
Customers who have paid, are stuck, and want an answer today. It sharpens what “finished” means faster than any amount of internal testing.
Upgrades that can't break anyone
Shipping a new version to people already running the old one, without taking their setup down. This is the single hardest thing in the whole operation and it is why client handovers get written the way they do.

Why this is on a client-facing website at all

“We can build you an admin panel” is a claim. Running one under load, for people who pay for it, is evidence.

We have been supporting our own software for years after the invoice cleared. Everything we have learned from doing exactly that, from how permissions get abused to what people actually click, ends up in the next client’s build.
